Veterinarian
Dr. Samantha Hancock is a dedicated veterinarian who earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University in 2019. From a young age, Dr. Hancock knew she was meant to work with animals, bringing home strays, ensuring they had food and comfort. Over time her love for animals grew into a deep appreciation for the science and problem-solving involved in veterinary medicine, as well as a strong desire to be an advocate for those who cannot speak for themselves.
After graduating, Dr. Hancock began her career in Las Vegas, where she practiced at a small animal hospital for 2.5 years. She then relocated to Santa Clarita for another two years of general practice before moving to the South Bay. There, she spent 1.5 years as a relief veterinarian, working across a variety of settings including general practice, urgent care, integrative medicine, and shelter medicine.
Dr. Hancock is committed to providing individualized care and holds certifications in Small Animal Acupuncture and Fear Free handling. She believes in treating every patient as if they were her own dog.
Outside of work, Dr. Hancock enjoys riding her beach cruiser along the Strand, going to CrossFit, and traveling the world. She has one beloved pet, a 9-year-old French Bulldog, June Bug.
